The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Thursday, July 17, dropped by Rs 900 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price drop follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also dropped and settling at Rs355,100.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 771, falling at Rs 304,441.
Internationally, the price of gold fell by $9 per ounce. Despite the decline, it still settle at $3,326 per ounce, according to data from APGJSA.
Earlier, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan, July 17, decreased by Rs 3,000 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Meanwhile, silver prices decreased by Rs 50 and stands at rate of Rs 3,964 per tola, while 10 grams of silver falls by Rs 43 and is sold at Rs3,398.
