Pakistani rupee on Wednesday declined by 0.29 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at RS 284.96 per USD against the previous day’s closing of Rs 284.67.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 286.50 and Rs 288.5 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by 1.62 paisa to close at Rs 331.11 against the last day’s closing of Rs 332.74. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went up 1.26 paisa and closed at Rs 1.9145, whereas an increase of 1.02 paisa was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs 381.78 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 382.80
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham decreased by 7.89 paisa to close at RS 77.58 and the Saudi Riyal fell by 7.63 paisa to close Rs75.98.
