The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Wednesday, July 16, dropped by Rs 3,000 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price drop follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also dropped and settling at Rs356,000.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 2,572, falling at Rs 305,212.
Internationally, the price of gold fell by $30 per ounce. Despite the decline, it still settle at $3,335 per ounce, according to data from APGJSA.
Yesterday, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Tuesday, July 15, decreased by Rs 700 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged and stands at previous day rate of Rs 4.014 per tola, while 10 grams of silver was sold at Rs3,441.
