As monsoon rains continue to drench northern Sindh, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast another humid and cloudy day for Karachi on Monday, July 14, with a chance of light drizzle, particularly during the night and early morning hours.
According to the latest PMD update, Karachi’s weather will remain partly cloudy, with humidity ranging between 70–80 percent in the morning and slightly easing to 55–65 percent by evening.
Daytime temperatures are expected to stay between 33–35°C, while lows at night may hover around 28–30°C. A steady west/southwesterly breeze is expected throughout the day.
Rain potential remains at 40 percent, mainly limited to brief light drizzle that could occur late night or early morning.

Meanwhile, more active weather systems continue to impact northern and central Sindh, with thunderstorms forecasted in Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Ghotki, and moderate to heavy rains expected in Sukkur, Larkana, and Dadu. Thatta and Sujawal along the coast may also experience brief drizzles.
In Karachi, the humidity index could make it feel as hot as 40°C, prompting the health department to advise residents to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary travel, and take special precautions for the elderly and children.
Hospitals have already recorded a 15 percent rise in heat-related cases, while pharmacies report increased demand for ORS and electrolytes.
