Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) chaired the Corps Commanders Conference Forum and reviewed the recent successes of the forces against Indian-sponsored proxies.
The forum was held at the General Headquarters, where top military leadership reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to national security in the face of mounting threats from Indian-sponsored proxies.
The forum began with a special Fateha to honour martyrs of recent terrorist attacks, vowing that their sacrifices would not be in vain.
The military leadership reviewed recent successful operations against terrorist groups allegedly backed by India.
It was unanimously resolved that the safety of Pakistani citizens remains the highest priority and that decisive and comprehensive actions against such proxy threats must continue without pause.
The forum cautioned that following India’s defeat in the Pahalgam incident, New Delhi is now pushing its agenda through destabilizing networks such as Fitna al-Kharij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
The Army Chief briefed commanders on Pakistan’s assertive diplomatic engagements during recent visits by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
A detailed report was also shared on the Army Chief’s own historic visit to the United States, where he directly presented Pakistan’s position on bilateral and regional matters to senior American officials.
Discussions also addressed shifting global dynamics, particularly the growing use of military force as a dominant foreign policy tool.
The forum stressed the need for Pakistan to strengthen its self-reliance capabilities while promoting internal unity and national resolve.
Criticizing India’s attempts to draw third parties into bilateral military matters, the Army Chief dismissed it as part of New Delhi’s effort to promote bloc politics and distract from its expansionist ambitions.
“The world is now more suspicious of India’s Hindutva-driven extremism and hegemonic motives,” he stated.
Commanders also reviewed Pakistan Army’s evolving operational strategies and adaptation to modern warfare. The Army Chief lauded the Pakistan Navy and Air Force for enhancing tri-service coordination.
Concluding the session, Field Marshal Munir expressed full confidence in the army’s preparedness to counter any internal or external threat.
