The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Friday, July 4, dropped by Rs 1,500 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price drop follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also dropped, settling at Rs355,500.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 1286, falling at Rs 304,783. The previous day, gold had surged by Rs800 per tola.
Internationally, gold was priced at $3,335 per ounce, showing a drop of $15 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged and stands at previous day rate of Rs3,871 per tola, while 10 grams of silver was sold at Rs3,138.
