Iran launches missiles at US bases in Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain

Iran missile attack on US bases

Iran launched a missile attack on U.S. bases in Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain in response to American airstrikes on its nuclear facilities, according to international media reports.

Missiles were seen in the skies followed by loud explosions. It is unclear yet whether the attacks caused any significant damage or casualties on the ground.

Iranian state TV confirmed it struck American forces at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, calling the move a “mighty and successful response” to what it described as “America’s aggression.”

The airspace over Qatar was closed just before the attack due to Iranian threats. International flights were briefly suspended as a precautionary step by authorities.

Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian said on social media platform X that Iran had no interest in starting war, but “will not leave invasion to the great Iran without answer.”

The missile strikes mark a serious escalation in regional tensions following the U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which had already raised global concern.

Observers now fear the confrontation could widen into a broader regional conflict involving American allies in the Gulf region.
