Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced free internet and call minutes for all mobile users to celebrate 200 million telecom subscribers nationwide.
On June 20, 2025 [Tomorrow – Friday], all mobile users across Pakistan can receive 2 GB of free data and 200 on-net minutes, valid for 24 hours.
In order to activate this one-day package, users have to dial *2200# from any mobile network. The offer will be automatically processed and will not require additional balance or registration.
Latest PTA figures show mobile phone users at 197.7 million, broadband subscriptions at 150 million, and fixed-line connections at 3.75 million.

To commemorate the milestone, PTA is organizing a special event at its Islamabad headquarters, bringing together telecom operators, mobile manufacturers, and industry stakeholders for a day of celebration.
The ceremony will include discussions on digital expansion, connectivity goals, and the evolving role of telecom services in Pakistan’s economy and technological advancement.
Mobile network operators are also participating by offering free voice and data bundles to users on June 20, encouraging public engagement and highlighting achievements in connectivity.
Mobile device manufacturers are contributing mid-range smartphones – 10 to 15 devices – to be awarded through a lucky draw for attendees.
