Pakistan’s Noman, Saud Shine in ICC Test Rankings Update

Two Pakistani cricketers have made impressive advancements in the latest ICC Men’s Test Rankings following their recent performances, with spinner Noman Ali and Test vice-captain Saud Shakeel at the forefront.

Noman Ali has surged up two spots to secure the fourth position in the ICC Test bowling rankings, marking his entry into the top five with 806 points.

In a similar vein, Saud Shakeel has progressed one position to enter the top 10 among Test batters, now sitting at ninth, further establishing himself as a pivotal player in Pakistan’s red-ball cricket framework.

Mohammad Rizwan has faced a setback, now ranked 16th with 671 points, while Babar Azam remains consistent at 21st with 651 points.

Salman Ali Agha is currently positioned at 31st with 592 points, followed closely by captain Shan Masood, who occupies the 45th spot with 542 points.

Among other Pakistani batters, Abdullah Shafique is ranked 51st, Kamran Ghulam at 81st, and Saim Ayub at 88th.

On the bowling front, Sajid Khan and Shaheen Afridi have retained their standings at 21st and 23rd, respectively, while Mohammad Abbas is placed at 29th. Abrar Ahmed is at 52nd, Khurram Shahzad at 64th, Aamer Jamal at 72nd, Mir Hamza at 93rd, Salman Ali Agha at 95th, and Zahid Mahmood at 97th.
