The Regional Inter-District Senior Cricket Tournament 2025-26 is set to kick off on Saturday, June 14, across six regions in the country, including Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, FATA, Lahore, Multan, and Sialkot.
The tournament will officially begin in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Larkana Regions starting June 15, while matches in Faisalabad, Islamabad, and Peshawar Regions will commence from June 16.
In the Quetta Region, the inter-district senior tournament matches will start on June 19, followed by fixtures in Hyderabad and Rawalpindi Regions beginning on June 20. Dera Murad Jamali will host matches starting June 21, and the Karachi Region will see its matches begin on June 27.
A total of 110 teams will compete in three-day matches across the 16 regions of the country. Players were selected based on their performances in the recently concluded Challenge League (two-day) and President’s Trophy Grade-II, with some players retained from last year’s events. This upcoming red-ball tournament is expected to serve as a talent feeder for the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
