The passport fees, which was revised last year, led to public concern that another increase might follow this year as well, especially as costs of public services continue to rise.
However, the government of Pakistan is not planning to raise passport fees in the fiscal year 2025 – 26, according to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports.
However, this update offers relief to applicants, especially those planning international travel for education, work, or family reasons.
