The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that the national selection committee will remain unchanged, ensuring stability in the team’s selection process.
In a statement released by a PCB spokesman, it was clarified that the only modification made is the replacement of the data analyst. Hassan Cheema has been succeeded by Usman Hashmi, who will assist the selection committee but will not have voting rights during team selection.
The current members of the selection committee are as follows:
- Aqib Javed (Member)
- Aleem Dar (Member)
- Asad Shafiq (Member)
- Azhar Ali (Member)

The spokesman emphasized that the selection committee is required to consult with the Head Coach and Captain of the respective formats before finalizing the team.
This collaborative approach aims to ensure that the best possible squad is selected for upcoming matches, reflecting both strategic insights and player performance.
The PCB’s decision to maintain the existing selection committee underscores its commitment to a consistent and cohesive approach in building a competitive national team.
