The committee reviewed the LLB curriculum’s structure and subjects, aiming to modernize legal studies and ensure students are trained in both theory and legal practice.

Dr. Aziz-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Quaid-i-Azam University School of Law, and Hidayatullah Kasi, Deputy Director at HEC, also played key roles during the discussions.

The committee gave initial approval to the newly designed four-year LLB program. The revised course aims to prepare students for real-world legal challenges in Pakistan.

HEC officials stated that the updated curriculum will raise academic standards and help law graduates become more capable of handling professional legal responsibilities.

The updated four-year LLB program is expected to be implemented after final statutory approvals, ensuring compliance with higher education policies in Pakistan.
