The verification process for matriculation and intermediate certificates in Sindh is now fully digital, following a notification issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
The IBCC has ended the acceptance of sealed envelopes for verification.
From now on, all verification requests will be processed through a centralized online verification system to ensure faster and more secure procedures.
Currently, the Karachi Matric Board, Sukkur Education Board, and Ziauddin Board are linked to the new platform, meanwhile, other boards have been ordered to digitise academic records promptly and join the system.
The IBCC says this move will enhance transparency, reduce delays, and limit the risk of forged academic documents in the province. The digital platform aims to improve efficiency for students and institutions alike.
Education officials have hailed the shift as a much-needed reform, urging all boards to complete integration without delay.
The system also allows easier tracking and faster responses to national and international verification requests.
