PM commends Army troops for successful operation against India

Pakistan PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot to commend the armed forces for their bravery during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos against India.

Accompanied by top government officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and Foreign Minister, the Prime Minister was briefed on the battle’s strategy and the current operational readiness of the corps.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu were also present during the visit.

The Prime Minister praised the quick and decisive response of Pakistan’s armed forces against India’s aggression, calling their actions a “heroic defense of the motherland.” He stated that within hours, Pakistan’s forces neutralized the enemy with unmatched precision.

Speaking directly to frontline troops, he hailed their morale, professionalism, and unwavering readiness. “Pakistan takes immense pride in its brave sons; they are the crown jewels of the nation,” he said.

He said that the blatant aggression against innocent civilians resulting into martyrdom of children, women and elderly and calling them terrorists is utterly shameful and against all international laws, norms and morality.

“He stated that despite our offer of neutral investigations, India deliberately evaded such a path, as they had nothing to prove and based on a false pretext and bloated arrogance and ego, launched the offensive, for which it has got a very befitting response, Alhumdulillah,” the PM said.

He concluded by honoring Pakistan’s martyrs, saying their sacrifices will be remembered forever. “The nation shall eternally remain indebted to them,” he added.
