The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the successful conclusion of the extensive registration process for the highly anticipated Talent Hunt Programme.
The PCB talent hunt program, which ended on May 10, saw interest in registration of over 4,400 educational institutions, including 2,939 schools, 1,474 colleges, and 58 women’s colleges.
The next step involves the PCB scrutinizing the registered institutions before proceeding to the player registration phase. Among the women’s colleges, 26 are from Sindh, 25 from Punjab, five from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and one from FATA.
In total, 1,218 schools registered from Punjab, 777 from Sindh, 419 from KPK, 293 from Balochistan, 111 from FATA, 103 from Islamabad, and 18 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Through this well-curated Talent Hunt Programme, the PCB aims to identify and nurture talented male and female players across Pakistan, providing them with opportunities to pursue sports as a profession in the future.
