International Qimam Fellowship expands to Pakistan to empower high-potential university students

Qimam Fellowship

The international Qimam Fellowship Program has expanded to Pakistan and is accepting applications. Qimam is an international fellowship program supported by a coalition of leading national and international companies that aims to identify, develop, and empower the most promising and distinguished university students in and from Pakistan to achieve their full potential.

The program, which aims to attract high-potential university students in Pakistan, has been created based on the belief that Pakistan is rich with extraordinary talent, and that developing these talents is one of the best investments for a brighter future.

The program will provide its Fellows with one-on-one mentorship from senior public and private sector leaders, leadership training by professionals from renowned companies, visits to the Pakistani offices of leading national and international companies, membership in the global Qimam Alumni Network, an award for their distinctiveness upon completion of the program during a high-profile ceremony, and will share profiles of Fellows with leading HR leaders in Pakistan to facilitate their career opportunities.

The Qimam Fellowship Program would not have been possible without the generous contributions of its partner companies, McKinsey & Company (Founding Partner), Azm Development (Sponsor), Careem (Sponsor), Wamda (Sponsor), Aberkyn, Bazaar Technologies, Career Pakistan, Cisco, IBEX Global Solutions, Khwarizmi Ventures, Raed Ventures, TPL Corp, Unilever, VentureDive, and Walee., as well as a large number of executives from the public and private sectors.

The program targets Bachelor’s and Master’s students of any field at any Pakistani university, as well as Pakistani nationals studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at universities abroad.

Fellows will be selected into the program based on their academic performance and achievements, their level of initiative-taking beyond the academic realm, and their exhibited degree of social responsibility and service to the community.

Qimam launched its first annual Fellowship in Saudi Arabia in 2018 and has graduated 350 high-potential alumni to date, before expanding to Pakistan and the wider MENAP region in 2025 under the non-profit Qimam Foundation.

The Fellowship applications will remain open until 30 May 2025. The application form and more details about the Qimam Fellowship can be found on www.qimam.com.
