The federal government has reopened the PM Youth Laptop Scheme 2025, offering 100,000 laptops to top-performing students studying in public universities across the country.
This scheme is part of the larger Digital Youth Hub programme, launched to help students develop digital skills and gain better access to online learning and resources.
Eligibility:
Students from all academic backgrounds in public sector universities are eligible to apply. The selection process is based on merit to ensure fairness and transparency.
To apply, students must currently be enrolled in a recognized public university in Pakistan and must show academic excellence or belong to a financially deserving group.

Deadline:
The deadline to submit applications is May 20, 2025. Students can apply online via the Digital Youth Hub website or by downloading the mobile application.
Last year, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a larger goal to provide one million students with laptops, smartphones, and tablets across all regions of Pakistan.
He said that students in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and underserved parts of Balochistan would not be left out of the digital inclusion effort.
Additionally, the Prime Minister pledged to sponsor 1,000 agriculture graduates for advanced studies in China to help improve modern farming technologies in Pakistan.
