Police have arrested four individuals under terrorism charges for attacking a food chain restaurant in North Karachi, part of a growing wave of similar incidents.

The arrests followed a violent incident, when a mob of nearly 100 people gathered outside the restaurant and began pelting it with stones.

According to the police officials, the attack not only damaged the restaurant but also caused harm to a police mobile van deployed for crowd control in the area.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Obaid, Waseem, Hammad, and Uzair, meanwhile, the police confirmed that all four were involved in the North Karachi incident.
