UAE issues visa guidelines, sets new rules for Pakistani travelers

UAE new visa guidelines

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced new visa guidelines, making a confirmed return ticket and bank statement mandatory for Pakistani travelers.

According to the report, the UAE now requires visa applicants to show proof of at least $5,000 in their bank account.

The UAE embassy spokesperson confirmed that all visa applications must be submitted online, and a fee of $69 applies per person.

Applicants must carry the required documents, including bank statements and hotel bookings, while submitting their visa applications at the embassy.

The embassy has clarified that passport validity should be no less than six months at the time of application submission.

The visa fee must be deposited into a designated Al-Falah Bank account as part of the updated visa procedure guidelines.

A confirmed return ticket and proof of accommodation are now required documents for all types of UAE visa applications.

The new instructions also include changes regarding child visas and the biometric verification process at the visa application centers.

Children under five years of age are exempt from visiting the visa center, while those aged six to fifteen need photographs along with their visa application.

Children aged fifteen or above must visit the visa center for full biometric and visa application processing, as per new rules.

The spokesperson stated that all biometric data collection will be done at the designated visa centers during the application process.
