Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has reacted to senior Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh’s statement regarding his alleged rude behavior. Emraan called Javed Sheikh’s remarks strange and said he does not recall any such incident.
During an interview on a Pakistani TV show, Javed Sheikh shared his experience while working on the Bollywood film Jannat.
He stated that Emraan Hashmi ignored him when they first met, leaving him angry.
Sheikh further claimed that during rehearsals, he refused to approach Emraan and insisted the director call him instead. Throughout the shoot, he never spoke to Emraan or even looked at him.
Speaking to Indian media on his 46th birthday, Emraan said he does not remember his first meeting with Javed Sheikh as it happened a long time ago. However, he insisted that they always had a pleasant relationship with the senior Pakistani actor.
Emraan added, “His statement is strange. I was only 20 at the time, and he was much older, so we could never be friends. But I don’t recall anything like this happening.”
