Karachi to experience hot, humid weather on Eid 2025

Residents of Karachi should prepare for hot and humid weather during Eid-ul-Fitr 2025, as per the latest Meteorological Department forecast.

The PMD predicted that the maximum temperature in the city is expected to range between 34 to 36 degrees Celsius during the Eid holidays.

Currently, Karachi’s temperature stands between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, with sea breezes at 6 km/h and humidity at 68 percent.

From Friday, a further temperature increase is expected, reaching 37 to 38 degrees Celsius, with hot and dry winds blowing from the northwest.

However, sea breezes are likely to resume in the evening, bringing some relief.

A gradual temperature decrease is anticipated from March 25, but Eid days will still be warm.

Earlier this week, the PMD indicated the possibility of a further increase in the temperature in Karachi from Friday (March 21), with temperature likely reaching 38°C over the weekends in the city.

According to the PMD, the temperature in the city is likely to remain between 37 and 38 degrees Celsius, and the city’s weather is expected to remain hot and dry from Friday.

During the day, hot and dry winds may blow from the northwest, and later in the day, the hot temperature might ease as sea breezes may resume in the evening in the metropolis.

The temperature in Karachi will decrease from March 25, and the temperature is likely to remain between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius during the days of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.
