The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) has released crime statistics for the month of February 2025, revealing a concerning surge in street crimes across the metropolis.
Data released by the CPCL Sindh revealed that 4-wheelers snatched rose from 24 in December to 36 in February, while 2-wheelers thefts surged to 3,224 in February.

According to the report, over 6,000 incidents were recorded last month with a total of 36 people losing their lives in various incidents, while street criminals snatched 1,402 mobile phones from citizens.

Additionally, 3,773 motorcycles and 195 cars were either stolen or snatched.
The police also receive one kidnappings for ransom, four extortion, and 36 homicide complaints from the citizens.
Despite tall claims of Karachi police, street crime remains a pressing issue, as daily robberies continue to affect citizens.
