PAK vs IND Champions Trophy 2025

Cricket fans eagerly await the high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India in the Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place on Sunday, February 23, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The United Arab Emirates Meteorological Department has forecasted rain on Sunday, though it is expected to occur towards the end of the match, minimizing any impact on play.

The weather will remain partly cloudy, with light rain possible on Sunday night and Monday morning. Winds are currently blowing at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour.

The temperature on match day is expected to reach 33°C during the day, while it may drop to 20°C at night.

Pakistan in a must-win situation

Pakistan faces a must-win situation as they prepare for their next match after a disappointing loss to New Zealand in their tournament opener in Karachi. Chasing a target of 321, the team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, fell short by 60 runs despite solid half-centuries from Babar Azam and Khushdil Shah.

Adding to their woes, opener Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury, with Imam-ul-Haq replacing him for the remaining matches.

On the other hand, India comes into the game with confidence after a dominant victory over Bangladesh. Mohammed Shami’s brilliant five-wicket haul and Shubman Gill’s unbeaten century powered India to a comfortable win.

With both teams seeking a crucial victory, clear weather promises an uninterrupted clash between the arch-rivals.
