Karachi’s Water Corporation has once again suspended its tanker service, halting water supply to citizens across the city.

This suspension follows an incident where angry residents set fire to water tankers at Jail Chowrangi.

The suspension has affected water delivery to various parts of the city, including hydrants at Nipa and Safoora.

The altercation began after a high-speed water tanker caused disturbances, leading to public outrage.

The situation escalated when people set multiple tankers on fire, though fire brigade teams managed to extinguish the flames.

Police arrested the driver and cleaner of the dumper involved in the incident.

Sindh Home Minister Zia Lanjar has taken notice of the event and demanded a report from the police authorities. The water supply disruption has left many citizens without access to water until the issue is resolved.
