Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad have been named the third, fourth, and 314th cheapest cities in the world, according to a lifestyle cost list compiled by Numbeo for 2025.
The list ranks 327 cities globally based on various factors such as rent, shopping, hotel prices, and purchasing power, based on the lifestyle costs of New York residents.
In this list, the 3 Swiss cities including Zurich, Lausanne, and Geneva were declared the most expensive cities in the world.
Remarkably, both Lahore and Karachi are 85 percent cheaper than Zurich, Switzerland’s most expensive city, while, Islamabad, though ranked lower, is still 83 percent cheaper than Zurich.
