Following the persisting cold weather, Karachi temperature is expected to experience a rise starting from January 27, with the temperature potentially increasing by up to 28°C.
However, the city’s minimum temperature was recorded at 9.8°C today, with the minimum expected to range between 9 and 11°C, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The current humidity level is at 41 percent, with winds blowing from the northeast at 11 kilometers per hour.
Weather analysts predict that by Monday or Tuesday, the minimum temperature may rise to 11-13°C, and daytime temperatures could reach 26-28°C.
Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had forecast drizzle in parts of Karachi today, with partially cloudy skies expected to persist over the next 24 hours.
According to the latest PMD update, light fog may develop in some areas during the morning hours, as Karachi temperature drops.
The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 21.2°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 29°C and 31°C.
Humidity levels remain high at 83 percent, with westerly winds bringing cooler conditions across the city.
