IGP Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, has called for full cooperation from the public regarding security measures for New Year celebrations.
Strict security arrangements have been made across Sindh, with police patrolling and setting up check posts at roads, streets, markets, parks, beaches, shopping centers, and busy roads.
A traffic management plan is also being announced to handle road congestion.

Citizens are urged to avoid aerial firing, set off fireworks, ride motorcycles without silencers, or break any laws during the celebrations as the government of Sindh imposed section 144 in the province, and violators will face no leniency.
IGP Memon asks the public to support the police and law enforcement agencies, avoid participating in illegal or immoral activities.
