Strong winds expected to bring temperature drop in Karachi

Karachi is experiencing cold and dry weather, with strong northeasterly winds expected to sweep through the city today bringing a dip in temperature, as reported by Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to the PMD, strong winds with speeds of 25 to 35 km/h are expected to continue on December 24 and 25, bringing a further dip in temperatures.

The minimum temperature recorded last night was 13.5°C, and daytime temperatures are likely to hover around 26°C.

However, the mercury is expected to drop significantly at night, potentially reaching single digits.

Other regions of Sindh and parts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Kalat, Zhob, and Ziarat, have already experienced sub-zero temperatures.
