Shehar Bano, a 15-year-old daughter of a security guard from Lodhran – a district in the province of Punjab – has made her international cricket debut representing Pakistan in the Women’s Under-19 T20 Asia Cup against Nepal in Malaysia.
The seventh-grade student, who hails from Chak No 48M in Lodhran, is a left-arm fast bowler and plays for Tareen Cricket Academy.
Her debut cap was presented to her by the team’s head coach, Mohsin Kamal, during the match.
The team management and fellow players congratulated Shahr Bano on her achievement, wishing her the best for her international career.
Ali Khan Tareen, the owner of Tareen Cricket Academy, also extended his congratulations, expressing pride in her selection for the national U-19 team.
