The main accused in the murder case of 17-year-old Jazlan has been granted bail by the Sindh High Court on Monday.
The court ordered Muhammad Irfan, involved in the tragic incident, to submit a bond of Rs 1 million.
The trial court had previously rejected Irfan’s bail in June 2024, but the High Court granted him bail, citing delays in the trial.
Out of 27 prosecution witnesses, only one had testified after a delay of over two years.
The court noted that the accused had no prior criminal record or history of habitual offenses.
The case stems from an argument that escalated during a motorcycle race on Karachi’s Super Highway, leading to the fatal shooting of Jazlan.
The accused, Muhammad Irfan, faces charges related to the murder, which occurred following a quarrel between the two.
