Meta recently connected with around 40 content creators in Pakistan, kicking off a series of engagements with a gathering in Karachi.
Throughout the week, Meta collaborated with well-known creators like Food Fusion, Samosiii, and Osamah Nasir and collaborated on content creation.
Revie Sylviana, Meta’s Director of Global Partnerships for South and Southeast Asia, praised the creativity of Pakistani creators on Meta’s platforms.
“We’re excited to see Pakistani creators use Meta platforms in unique ways to grow their communities,” Sylviana said.
Although Meta doesn’t have a dedicated representative in Pakistan, its global teams are focused on supporting Pakistani creators with essential tools and resources.
Meta celebrated the launch of WhatsApp Channels by some creators during the “Creators Connect” event.
While, representatives from Jazz also participated, introducing new data packs for WhatsApp and Facebook to support creators’ needs.
Meta’s engagement aims to empower Pakistan’s young digital talent, helping them share their stories, showcase their talents, and build meaningful connections with their audiences.
