Pakistan Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted the weather conditions in Karachi, forecasted hot and humid conditions over the next 24 hours.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius earlier today, with a maximum temperature expected to range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Experts predicted that the morning humidity levels in Karachi reached 87 percent, and are expected to decrease between 45 and 55 percent by evening.

The forecast suggests that residents should prepare for continued warmth and high humidity as the city experiences typical seasonal weather.

Earlier this month, the PMD predicted that the current heatwave is likely to continue in Karachi till November 12.

In an interview with Dawn News, the Chief Meteorologist – Sardar Sarfaraz – anticipated that the heatwave in Karachi is likely to continue till November 12, with the temperature in Sindh to further spike 6 to 7 degrees.

“The first 10 to 12 days of November will remain hot and humid,” Sarfaraz added.

The Chief Meteorologist further added that the winter to hit Karachi from the mid of December.
