Sindh on high alert after Quetta blast

Following the deadly explosion in Quetta this morning which claimed 24 lives, Sindh’s Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar has directed to tighten the security across the province.

In a statement, Linjar condemned the blast and extended full support to the Balochistan government in their efforts to handle the situation.

The Minister instructed Sindh Police to implement a security plan at the district level and maintain vigilance in light of the Quetta attack.

He also emphasized the importance of increasing intelligence efforts and monitoring suspected individuals closely.

It is pertinent to mention here that the explosion, which occurred at the railway station in Quetta, claimed the lives of 24 people and injured 40 others, according to SSP Operations Muhammad Baloch.

The blast has raised security concerns, prompting immediate action from authorities in Sindh to safeguard public safety.
