At Karachi airport on Monday, 2.68 kilogrammes of crystal ice were taken by the anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) from a traveller headed for Qatar.
Details indicate that the ANF successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt at Karachi’s Jinnah Airport.
When the ANF detained the accused and thwarted his attempt to smuggle drugs to Qatar in a jam bottle, he was in possession of the drugs.
In a separate raid, the ANF found 5 kg of heroin and 260 kg of opium in Dalbandin, Balochistan. Date plants were used as cover for the drugs.
Additionally, cases under the Anti-Drug Act have been filed against the accused.
