Karachi’s District South administration on Thursday took action against businesses found to be violating coronavirus SOPs set by the government. Staff sealed 25 shops including restaurants and salons in different areas of the city.
Coronavirus-related restrictions have been tightened in the city to prevent its spread in Sindh.
According to the spokesperson of the district administration, the operations were carried out in Defense, Saddar, Garden and Civil Lines, as well as Delhi Colony, Musa Lane and Kharadar.
The district administration said that two stores and a mobile shop in Defense, a juice centre and pakwan centre were sealed in Delhi Colony were sealed. Seven shops, including four restaurants and a travel agency, were sealed in Saddar.
The administration also sealed a shop, hotel, pakwan centres and a bakery in the garden, as well as a catering shop in the Kharadar area for violating Corona SOPs
