To give Karachiites some much-needed relief in Ramazan, electricity load-shedding periods should be kept short, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh has instructed KE.
Sheikh has said that there will be no load shedding in Karachi during sehar and iftar times. The discussion ensued in a meeting between Sheikh and KE CEO Moonis Abdullah. Sheikh said that due to load shedding, the business community is being severely affected.
Abdullah, on the other hand, told the minister that non-payment of bills causes an increase in load shedding. Shaikh also pointed out that bill payment will improve when KE removes kundas from suburban areas.
