Karachi traffic police unveils traffic diversion plan for PSL 9

In preparation for the much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) matches at National Stadium, Karachi Traffic Police has rolled out a comprehensive traffic diversion plan aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and enhanced convenience for attendees.

With the second phase of PSL 9 matches set to commence from February 28 to March 18, Karachi Traffic Police has devised a specialized strategy to manage traffic effectively during match days.

Key components of the traffic diversion plan include designated parking facilities at the PSB Coaching Center near the stadium for attendees arriving from areas such as Karsaz, Millennium, and New Town.

Moreover, specific routes will have restricted heavy traffic entry during match days to prioritize the movement of vehicles and pedestrians. The restricted routes include Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, Peoples Chowrangi to University Road, Carsaaz to the Stadium, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Signal to Hassan Square.

The implementation of this traffic diversion plan aims to streamline traffic management around the National Stadium during PSL 9 matches, ensuring a hassle-free experience for spectators and maintaining the smooth functioning of the city’s roadways.

As PSL 9 continues to captivate cricket enthusiasts across the nation, Karachi Traffic Police remains committed to facilitating safe and efficient travel for attendees throughout the duration of the tournament.
