According to the police, the incident took place close to the Razzaqabad Police Training Center when a quick dumper struck a motorcycle, instantly killing three people.
The bodies have been moved by the police to a nearby hospital for an autopsy.
After the incident, the truck driver escaped the area.
Police have also started looking for the driver to arrest.
This is not the first time that reckless driving and underage drivers have resulted in speeding heavy vehicles taking the lives of city residents in the port city.
