The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) marked a historic moment with the spectacular unveiling of its 10th edition trophy, “The Luminara Trophy,” in the Arabian Sea.
This first-of-its-kind reveal highlights the league’s innovation, resilience, and excellence over the past decade.
Crafted from a solid silver sheet, the 10-kilogram masterpiece is adorned with 22,850 high-luster zircon stones, symbolizing the brilliance, energy, and competitive spirit of the PSL.
The name "Luminara” derives from the Latin words luminare (torch) and lumens (light), reflecting the league’s role in illuminating cricket in Pakistan.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi called the unveiling “a testament to PSL’s commitment to innovation and excellence.” He added, “This trophy represents the league’s shining legacy and bright future.”
HBL PSL CEO Salman Naseer stated, “HBL PSL has always pushed boundaries. Just as the sea holds depth and mystery, PSL is a deep reservoir of talent, resilience, and sportsmanship.”
PSL X set to begin April 11
The 10th edition of HBL PSL will take place in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi from April 11 to May 18, 2025.
The opening match will see defending champions Islamabad United face Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
