The United States has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan, which involved hostage-taking by militants.
In an official statement on X, the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan denounced the attack on passenger train and expressed solidarity with the victims and their families.
The attack was claimed by the banned outfit.
“The Pakistani people deserve to live free from violence and fear,” the statement read, adding that the U.S. remains a committed partner in Pakistan’s fight for security and stability.
The embassy assured continued support for Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and ensure the safety of its citizens.
