Sindh government has approved the extension of the Rangers’ deployment in Karachi for another year.
The decision, which was made by the Sindh Cabinet, also includes an increase in the Rangers’ powers within the Karachi Division.
The extended deployment will now last until December 8, 2025.
This move comes after the Sindh Home Department submitted a request, which was subsequently approved by the cabinet.
The extension aims to maintain law and order in the city.
