Surgeons at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) in Karachi have successfully separated two conjoined sisters from Naushahro Feroze.
The complex procedure was conducted by a team of expert surgeons from four major hospitals: NICH, Aga Khan Hospital, NICVD, and SICHN.
As per the details, the operation lasted four hours, involving a dedicated staff of 10 medical professionals.
Executive Director of NICH, Professor Nasir Siddiqui, expressed gratitude for the success of the surgery, stating, “Thanks to God, the procedure was successful, and both sisters are now stable.”
He added that the entire operation was conducted free of cost, with the hospital administration covering all expenses.
