The International Cricket Council (ICC) has scheduled a crucial board meeting on November 29 to resolve the ongoing dispute between India and Pakistan as BCCI denied crossing the border to participate in the Champions Trophy 2025.
All 15 ICC board members are expected to participate in the meeting, which will be conducted via video link.
Meanwhile, discussions will focus on India’s refusal to play in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) rejection of the hybrid model, and options for tournament hosting.

Previously, the schedule for the Champions Trophy was expected to be finalized by November 21.
However, delays arose due to India’s stance against traveling to Pakistan and the PCB’s firm insistence on hosting the tournament in its entirety.
Sources reveal that the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) is pressuring the ICC to adopt a hybrid hosting model, which the PCB opposes. If no consensus is reached, the ICC board may proceed with a vote to decide the matter.
The Champions Trophy’s schedule is also set to be reviewed during this meeting, potentially shaping the future of the high-stakes tournament amid ongoing geopolitical tensions between the two cricketing rivals.
