Nine-month-old baby kidnapped in Qayyumabad

In a heart-wrenching incident, a nine-month-old baby was abducted from the Qayyumabad D area, prompting the police to register a case as the mother of the abducted child grapples with profound grief.

Despite previous cases of child abduction and serious incidents in Karachi, the police seemingly failed to implement effective measures to prevent such occurrences.

The Defense police station has officially registered a case concerning the abduction of the nine-month-old child. However, in a perplexing turn of events, four hours later, the kidnapper left the girl near a crossing and took Nomah’s child.

The mother of the abducted nine-month-old, who was emotionally devastated outside the police station, expressed deep sorrow. She revealed that this child was her only son, and the loss compounds the tragedy as she has already lost two other children.

Amidst tears and anguish, the grieving mother pleaded for the safe recovery of her son, emphasizing the immense pain caused by the traumatic incident. The baby’s uncle, in frustration, recounted making two calls to emergency services (15) and visiting the police station twice to file a case before the police finally registered it. The delayed response has added to the distress of the family, heightening concerns about the effectiveness of law enforcement in such critical situations.
