Sindh police have recovered a weapon holster from the site where the body of Wafflix owner Mir Raza Ali was found in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 1, as investigators continue efforts to determine who was behind his killing.

The holster was recovered during a search of the crime scene, two days after Raza’s body was discovered. Police officials said investigators are now trying to determine who the holster belonged to and whether it is connected to the murder.
“We are investigating who the weapon holster belongs to,” a police official said.
Authorities have also decided to send the mobile phone recovered from the deceased for forensic examination. Investigators hope the analysis will help establish Raza’s last contacts, communications and movements before his death.
Police said no bullet casings have been recovered from the crime scene so far.

Officials said the dense bushes at the location made the search difficult, adding that police teams searched the area for several hours but could not locate any casing.
“It is very difficult to find a bullet casing there because of the bushes. We searched for several hours but could not find one,” officials said.
The recovery of the holster could provide investigators with another potential piece of evidence as forensic teams examine material collected from the scene.
Earlier, investigators obtained CCTV footage showing Mir Raza Ali leaving his home in P.E.C.H.S., providing police with an important lead into his final movements.
According to police sources, the footage shows that Raza booked a car through an online ride-hailing service for a journey towards Gulistan-e-Johar during the early hours of the morning.
At around 4:09am, a white car entered his street and stopped directly outside his residence.
The driver reportedly waited for Raza, who appeared on the street approximately two minutes and 20 seconds later. He then entered the vehicle and left the area.
Police said establishing the exact time of Raza’s departure and identifying the vehicle has allowed investigators to expand the scope of their inquiry.
District East Police teams are now collecting CCTV footage from different locations along the vehicle’s route.
Investigators are attempting to establish where Raza travelled after leaving his home, where he may have exited the vehicle and what happened to him afterwards.

Police are also trying to determine who Raza came into contact with after leaving the ride-hailing vehicle and identify the people involved in his death.
The latest developments, including the recovery of the weapon holster and forensic examination of Raza’s mobile phone, could provide investigators with additional evidence as they work to identify the suspects and establish the motive behind the killing.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police have not yet announced any arrests in connection with the case.
