A young businessman Mir Raza Ali who was reportedly abducted two days ago has been found murdered in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar area, police said.

According to police, the victim’s body was recovered near Shahi Qila Ground in Block-1 of Gulistan-e-Johar. The deceased was identified as Mir Raza Ali, who had gone missing from the jurisdiction of Ferozabad Police Station two days earlier.
Edhi officials said a body bearing gunshot wounds was found among nursery bushes near Shahi Qila Ground in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-1. Edhi ambulance and rescue teams reached the site, where the deceased was identified as 25-year-old Mir Raza Ali Khan, son of Mir Hussain. The case was reported to the Gulistan-e-Johar Police Station.
Police said a kidnapping case had been registered a day before the body was discovered after the victim’s family reported his disappearance.
Preliminary investigations suggest the suspects attempted to conceal the victim’s identity by pouring acid on his body.
Investigators believe Mir Raza Ali was brought to the location where his body was found, shot dead, and abandoned before the suspects fled the scene.
According to investigators, Mir Raza Ali left his home at around 4:00 a.m. two days ago after telling his family he would return within 10 minutes. When he failed to return and his mobile phone was later found switched off, his family alerted the police.
Police said the victim owned and operated Wafflix, a food business in Karachi’s Bahadurabad area.

Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation and are exploring multiple leads to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the killing.
The funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janazah) for Mir Raza Ali were offered in Karachi, with a large number of relatives, friends, and community members attending to pay their respects.
Earlier to this, a Karachi court remanded three suspects in the Dr Akash murder case into police custody for seven days to facilitate further investigation into the robbery-cum-murder.

The suspects identified as Anil, Ram Chand and Suresh were produced before the court under strict security arrangements. The court granted their physical remand and directed investigators to submit a progress report at the next hearing.
During the proceedings, Prosecutor Hassan Bhatti also requested the court to conduct an identification parade of the accused. He informed the court that three other suspects allegedly involved in the case are still at large.
