Today’s gold rates in Karachi and across Pakistan recorded a notable decline, with the bullion market pulling back across all categories after four consecutive sessions of strong gains, as international gold prices fell sharply and erased a portion of the powerful recovery built up earlier in the week.

Today’s gold rates in Karachi and Pakistan, July 24, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 427,436 (-4,600)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 366,457 (-3,944)

International gold prices also fell sharply, declining by $46 to settle at $4,050 per ounce, pulling back from the highs reached earlier in the week as global markets took a breather after the recent run of strong gains.
The decline in global gold rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with today’s gold rates in Karachi falling across all categories throughout the session.
The scale of Friday’s fall mirrors the gains seen during the best sessions of this week’s recovery, highlighting just how volatile the market continues to be in both directions.
Gold Rates in Karachi Extend Post-Rally Pullback
Thursday had already signalled that the four-session recovery was losing momentum, with gold rates in Karachi easing by Rs. 1,800 per tola to settle at Rs. 432,036, as international gold slipped by $18 to $4,096 per ounce.

That modest pullback had followed four consecutive sessions of meaningful gains, Wednesday’s surge of Rs. 4,600 per tola, Tuesday’s powerful advance of Rs. 4,700 per tola, Monday’s gain of Rs. 300 per tola, and Saturday’s recovery of Rs. 2,400 per tola, which had collectively lifted domestic gold prices by Rs. 12,000 per tola from last week’s historic lows.
Thursday’s dip had been relatively contained, but Friday’s far sharper decline of Rs. 4,600 per tola has extended the pullback significantly.
Together, Thursday and Friday have now given back Rs. 6,400 per tola of the gains built during the recovery, leaving gold rates in Karachi at Rs. 427,436 per tola, meaningfully lower than Wednesday’s peak of Rs. 433,836 per tola but still well above last week’s multi-month low of Rs. 421,836 per tola.
Gold Rates in Karachi Hold Above Rs. 425,000 Despite the Fall
At Rs. 427,436 per tola, gold rates in Karachi remain above the Rs. 425,000 level that had proven difficult to hold during the worst of the recent correction, which is an encouraging sign even after a sharp down session.

Internationally, gold at $4,050 per ounce has pulled back from this week’s highs but continues to hold above the $4,000 threshold, the level whose breach last week had marked a historic low point for global markets.
Market Outlook Remains Watchful
Gold rates in Pakistan continue to be shaped by global economic signals, currency movements, and investor sentiment.
Two consecutive sessions of losses after four days of strong gains is a reminder of how quickly conditions can change in the current environment, and the market’s tendency toward sharp swings in both directions shows no sign of abating.
Traders and investors will be watching closely heading into the weekend whether gold rates in Karachi can stabilise above current levels and resume the recovery in the sessions ahead, or whether the two-session pullback has more room to run.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
