TikTok removed more than 22.5 million videos in Pakistan during the first quarter of 2026 for violating its Community Guidelines, according to the platform’s latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report.

The report, covering January to March 2026, highlights TikTok’s ongoing efforts to proactively identify and remove harmful content while maintaining a safer online environment for users.
During the reporting period, TikTok removed 22,535,523 videos in Pakistan, representing 0.8% of all videos uploaded on the platform in the country. Of the removed content, 99.6% was detected and taken down proactively, while 95.5% was removed within 24 hours of being posted. Following additional review, 690,557 videos were restored.

Globally, TikTok removed 184,012,576 videos during the quarter, accounting for approximately 0.5% of all uploaded content. The platform said 99.3% of violating videos were removed proactively, with 94.4% taken down within 24 hours. A total of 8,838,710 videos were reinstated after further review.
As part of its efforts to protect platform integrity, TikTok also removed 86,288,705 fake accounts worldwide and deleted 25,764,372 accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13.

Guidelines Enforcement Report
According to the report, 18.6% of the removed videos contained sensitive or mature themes that violated TikTok’s content policies. Another 12.6% breached the platform’s safety and civility standards, while 16.5% involved dangerous activities or challenges.

The report further stated that 12.9% of removed videos contained body exposure or sexualized behaviour, while 2.1% were identified as edited media or AI-generated content (AIGC).
