The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration has offloaded a passenger attempting to travel to Dubai from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the passenger, identified as Syed Zillullah Ehsan-ul-Zaman, was stopped during the immigration process at Karachi airport after airline staff encountered difficulties verifying his travel details in the airline’s system.

The issue prompted immigration officials to conduct a detailed examination of the passenger’s documents.

During scrutiny, authorities allegedly found that the UAE residence and work visa submitted by the traveler was forged and invalid.

Following the discovery, FIA officials questioned the passenger regarding the source of the visa and travel arrangements.

According to the initial inquiry, the passenger informed investigators that he had secured overseas employment through an agent named Malik Shahbaz Awan.

The passenger further disclosed that the agent was operating under the name “Malik Overseas” and was reportedly based in Jauharabad, Khushab district.

During the investigation, the traveler claimed he had paid Rs 380,000 to the agent for visa processing and travel-related documentation. The payments were reportedly made through multiple JazzCash and banking channels.

Officials said the passenger maintained that he was unaware the visa was fraudulent and believed he had obtained genuine travel documents for legal employment in Dubai.

The FIA suspects the case may be linked to a broader visa fraud network targeting job seekers seeking overseas employment opportunities, particularly in Gulf countries.
